CLEAR ALIGNERS

YOUR DREAM SMILE MADE EASY

If you're dreaming of a straighter smile without the traditional brace look, clear aligners from Camden Dental might just be your perfect match. These transparent (see-through) aligners snugly fit over your teeth, offering a metal-free alternative. They're removable and get updated every two weeks throughout your treatment journey.

The hard-to-clean brackets and wires of traditional braces often trap food, making dental hygiene challenging. If not cleaned properly, you could find yourself with stains once the braces come off. However, with Camden Dental's clear aligners, there's no fixed hardware, meaning no trapped food and no hidden surprises. You can smile broadly without worrying about flashing a metal grin! These aligners are easy to manage, popping in and out seamlessly, ideal for meals or social moments. And while in place, they're so discreet, blending beautifully with your natural smile.

ABOUT OUR CLEAR ALIGNERS

Our clear aligners work through a series of stages to straighten your teeth gently and effectively. With each new aligner, your teeth move gradually, requiring a new set approximately every two weeks. The total number of aligners needed varies from around 20 to 30, depending on your specific needs. While they're fantastic for minor to moderate orthodontic adjustments, more severe cases might need an alternative solution. Traditional braces are always an option for more complex dental issues. To determine the best path forward, we invite you to schedule a consultation with us at Camden Dental.

ALIGNERS VS. TRADITIONAL BRACES

The convenience of removable aligners is clear, but it's important not to remove them too often. Too much time without wearing your aligners can hinder your progress, potentially extending and increasing the cost of your treatment. Dentists recommend wearing your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, removing them only for eating and special occasions. For those who struggle to remember to pop them back in, traditional braces might be a better fit.

TREATMENT PROCESS

Throughout your treatment, you'll receive new sets of aligners with slight adjustments. Initially, a new set might feel a bit off as your teeth align to the correct position. Our clear aligner system targets specific teeth with each aligner for a gradual, effective adjustment. Regular check-ups with your dentist or orthodontist ensure you're on track, and new aligners are provided as needed.

In some cases, additional help is needed to move teeth into place. Your dentist or orthodontist can apply small attachments to exert extra force on stubborn teeth. These attachments are simple to add and remove, requiring no anesthesia and minimal discomfort.

Choose Camden Dental's clear aligners for a discreet, effective path to the smile you've always wanted.
